Privacy policy

The website (swipescan.app)
- Images you load into a tool stay on your device. Recognition runs in your browser tab with an open-source engine (Tesseract.js) downloaded from a public CDN (cdnjs). The image and the recognised numbers are not uploaded to us.
- Site analytics. We use Yandex Metrica to count visits and to see which pages and store links are used. It sets cookies and records anonymised technical data: pages viewed, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location from the IP address. Metrica's session replay (Webvisor) is configured not to record the tool area, so your image and results are not captured. See Yandex's privacy policy.
- Server logs. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page, browser) for about two weeks for security and troubleshooting.
- There are no accounts, forms or advertising on the site.
The app (SwipeScan — Number Scanner)
- Recognition happens on the device (Google ML Kit). Photos and camera frames are not uploaded.
- Analytics. The app uses Amplitude and AppMetrica to understand how it is used and where recognition fails. Events include app actions, device and OS information, and — when you copy a result — the copied text and its length. Do not use the app to copy information you are not willing to share with these analytics providers.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by the App Store or Google Play; AppHud manages subscription status. We do not receive your payment details.
- The app shows no advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Your choices
- You can block cookies or use an ad/tracker blocker; the browser tools keep working.
- To ask what data relates to you, or to request deletion, write to admin [at] imakarov [dot] us .
Children
The site and the app are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
